Winter in Knysna comes alive each year with the Knysna Oyster Festival – 10 days of great food, exciting sport and a lively programme of events for all ages. In 2026, the festival celebrates the theme “A feast of family fun”, inviting families to enjoy quality time together while experiencing the unique flavours, activities and atmosphere that make this one of South Africa’s favourite winter events.
